This may happen if the suction tube is leaking or the prime is clogged. In such a case, you need to unscrew the valve and then remove the dirt. Assemble it back to the initial position and then you will be good to go.

How to use Graco Magnum X5 properly?
Step 1:
You need to get two buckets one for the paint and another for the waste.
Step 2:
Put in the paint sucking hose in the paint bucket and the other waste drain on the waste bucket.
Step 3:
Turn on the motor to execute the pressure. Once the paint starts flowing in, set the prime to the waste bucket and allow some paint to flow out.
Step 4:
Now you need to set the prime on the sprayer. Put the sprayer inside the waste bucket and apply the trigger.
Step 5:
You need to wait until the paint comes out of the sprayer. Once it comes out, the sprayer is ready to use. You can now start painting.
